Waterproof gloves are for life!
Not just for winter!

You want a waterproof glove but if you are not careful you end up with a pair you did not expect. There are three types of gloves that keep you dry in the rain:
  • Laminated constructions
  • Lined - traditional construction
  • Insulated and lined - designed to be warm for mid season to winter

The Summer glove
Held Wizzard motorcycle gloves

A great example of a waterproof glove that's fantastic for wet weather use is the Wizzard glove from Held. These Short-cuffed motorcycle gloves have a bonded X-trafit Goretex membrane, so is 100% waterproof and breathable. Its the laminate that makes it unique and means to you it feels like an unlined glove even through it is waterproof.

The lined glove

Alpinestars motorcycle gloves

The Alpinestars Valparasio is designed for mid-season & touring. These gloves are just right for covering long distances at speed or when the weather turns but it's still too warm to get the winter gloves out. With the traditional construction of an outer layer, a membrane and a heavier or lighter lining, these motorcycle gloves always will be warmer than a laminate glove.

The Winter glove

Rev It! Fusion motorcycle gloves
The Rev it! Fusion gloves are a great waterproof and technically superbly clever glove for Winter. The clever design of these gloves means that they can be used with heated grips and the moisture wicking lining will pull away the moisture from your hands making these gloves ideal for winter commuting! For a great winter glove you get a complex set of insulating layers, a waterproof membrane and a wicking inner lining.
