What we wear: Held Shaku Waterproof boots

'We test the things we sell'- you hear it so often! Well, we actually DO. We don't just pop them on, walk around the store and pop them back in the box- we actually, really, physically, use them! See my Held Shaku boots (below). I've had these now for three years- covering thousands and thousands of miles in them. As you can see from the pic, the right one's minging after some great rides, the left one's been lovingly washed and cleaned.

Before I put up the catalogue pics and our 'official word' on these boots let me tell you my impression of them. Brilliant. So much so the Gaffer has tried to get me to use others, I've declined so far as I'm really happy with these. They've kept my feet warm in Winter, cool in Summer and they've kept my feet dry in the rain. They scrub up nice (as you can see) and what I really like is that they have a zip both sides, meaning the whole front drops down- very easy to get on and off. They are also by far the most comfortable motorcycle boots I've ever had.

And here's a thing- I don't wear wellies anymore in the snow- I use these! They are my dog walking boots as well :) Now, enough babbling! The official word:
