What We Wear- the Shark Vancore helmet

I fancied something a bit different in terms of a helmet and the Shark Vancore didn't disappoint. It looks mean, it turns heads, it looks different. But how does it perform?

I've been wearing this for about a year now. I have quite a few lids (you can never have too many!) and this is my preferred helmet unless it's very cold. Goggles will always let a bit of air around the area they sit against which can be a bit chilly in Winter. Otherwise I like this factor- nice and airy and giving the 'feel' of an open face - without the exposure. In the Vancore I feel more 'in' my surroundings, instead of 'inside' a helmet if that makes sense. 

The Goggles fit beautifully, have never fogged and offer superb vision, better vision in my opinion than via a full face visor. The interior is beautifully made and very comfortable and it's very light. I really do love wearing this helmet.

Great features: Lightweight, weighing in at only 1250 grams for a size medium. It is equipped with a comfortable natural bamboo interior, with aeration channels and double position ventilation for good airflow. The goggles are anti fog and anti scratch and have a quick release system making them fast to unclip.
