Winter care tips from GetGeared #5: Looking after your chain

The chain- delivers the power the engine creates, takes a lot of hammer, needs a bit of TLC especially this time of year. They're either getting bashed by the salt and gunk from the roads or sitting in a shed / garage awaiting better weather, trying hard not to corrode. We stock a whole range of products to keep your chain from pain - before we pick one or two to focus on check out our range here

We've just started stocking Petronas products, and we have to say we're very impressed with the quality. Here are two great products that will sort out your chain nicely- both for a combined price of under £12!

So, who are Petronas Lubricants? Is it a brand you can trust? As a global extractor and producer of oil, gas and power sources, Petronas are responsible for the full production of each oil, sealant and lubricant in their range. They invest a heavy amount of time and resources in the research and development of their products to ensure they are the highest quality.

Extra TOP TIP from GetGeared: Do not store your bike near any ozone emitting devices, such as motors, freezers, furnaces or electric heaters. The gasses created by these will deteriorate rubber parts.
