It has a powerful 400 cranking amperage for starting anything up to a two litre engine and once it has had a full three hour charge, it will only lose 10 percent of the charge every year. 

You can use the little blue LEDs next to the power button to see the level of charge it has left in it, which is handy because it isn't just a one off use little gadget, you'll be using it all the time as it comes with the ability and cables to charge earlier iPhones, new iPhones and micro USB socketed devices from a vehicle's cigarette lighter and even has three different torch modes so that you can see where you're plugging in and connecting to.
